One of my favorites, a potato, Cheddar Cheese, and Bacon. All cooked in foil on the fire pit! This can be made for a solo camper or a group.
Ingredients
1 potato of your choosing
Butter
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Bacon
Instructions
- Clean the potato and chop it into small pieces.
- Lay out a sheet of aluminum foil, non-stick side up, spray with oil
- Place the chopped up potato in the middle of the foil, add butter
- Wrap the potato inside the foil. If needed, add a second layer of foil
- Place it on the fire pit for 20 minutes
- While the potato is cooking on the fire pit, fry up some bacon. You decide how much bacon you want to make. Break it into small pieces when done.
- After the potato had been on the fire pit for 20 minutes, take it off and carefully open the foil pack
- Add the bacon and shredded cheddar, seal the foil back up
- Put it potato back on the fire pit for 10 more minutes
- Take it off the fire pit, carefully open the foil, serve it and enjoy.
