An easy, melty fire pit meal, perfect after a day on the trail.

After a long day of hiking or vanlife adventures, sometimes it’s best to keep dinner simple, but still delicious. This wrap is warm, cheesy, and totally satisfying. Just deli turkey, bacon, cheddar, and ranch… all wrapped up and grilled over the fire. Easy, filling, and zero cleanup.

Ingredients

Large Tortilla or Pita Shell
Deli Turkey
Bacon (cooked or Ready-To-Eat)
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Ranch Dressing

Instructions

  1. Lay out a large sheet of aluminum foil.
  2. Place the tortilla or pita in the center.
  3. Layer on turkey, bacon, and shredded cheddar
  4. Drizzle with ranch dressing to taste.
  5. Roll it up and wrap tightly in the foil.
  6. Place directly on the fire or coals
  7. Rotate every few minutes for even heating.
  8. After about 10–12 minutes, check for crispiness.
  9. Carefully unwrap and enjoy your hot, melty wrap!

Notes

  • Works great over a campfire, fire pit grill, or even hot coals.

  • Pita bread tends to crisp up better than tortillas over fire.

  • Add extras like tomatoes, onions, or hot sauce if you like
